		What's all the hype about? Well basically Gravity has taken slide gloves to the next level. Here's a few reasons why. 1) The Pro Slide Glove is now 75% leather increasing strength and durability especially in areas most prone to wear. I.E. Around thumbs and fingers. So leave the duck tape at home 2) The thickness of the center puck has been increased for longevity due to the fact that it takes the brunt of sliding. 3) Puck edges are now beveled which helps decrease the amount of friction when sliding, along with making the pucks slide over cracks and imperfections in the road much better. 4) The most important improvement of all, is the new material used for the pucks. It's a Self Lubricating, Super Tough, High Viscosity Acetal Homopolymer created by DuPont called Delrin Delrin Qualities: Delrin's light weight and self lubricating properties make it ideal for sliding. Because of these properties motorcycle riders/racers have also begun using it for their knee pucks. Delrin offers superior mechanical properties including high strength and rigidity over a broad temperature range, toughness and resistance to repeated impact. Delrin also has superior dimensional stability, long-term creep resistance, long-term fatigue resistance and excellent resistance to moisture, chemicals, and fuels. Delrin is also a low-wear low-friction, UV resistant, high stiffness, and toughened material. In a nutshell? It?s the ideal slide puck material.
